Born June 2, 1988 in Boston, Massachusetts. I began photographing at the age of 16 in Pennsylvania where I was drawn to its many abandoned and industrial spaces. I currently live in Providence, RI attending graduate school at RISD. I work with an 8x10 large format camera as I feel it is the camera that most relates to painting in its control and ability to communicate the minutest details. It allows me to slow down and compose with precision. I draw inspiration from many landscape artists, from romantic painting to contemporary photography.
